These terms apply to work carried out by Herman Rudd Jr. Lockmasters & General Services Limited (“we”, “us”), trading as Rudd Lockmasters Security Services.
Quotes and prices
Quotes are based on the information you give us and are valid for 30 days. If a job turns out to need different parts or more work than expected, we will explain why and agree the change with you before going ahead.
Proof of ownership
Before opening a lock, vehicle, safe or vault, or cutting or programming a key, we may ask for identification and proof that you own the property or are authorised to act for the owner. We can refuse any job where this is not provided.
Payment
Payment is due when the work is completed unless we have agreed other terms in writing, for example an account for a business or institution.
Parts and workmanship
New locks and parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty. If you have a problem with our workmanship, contact us and we will put it right.
Opening locks
We always try to open locks without damage. Occasionally a lock, safe or vehicle can only be opened by drilling or replacing parts; we will tell you before doing so.
Confidentiality
Combinations, key codes and details of your security arrangements are kept confidential and are never shared except where required by law.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
