What is a chip key?
Many car keys contain a transponder chip. The car checks the chip before it will start, so a new key has to be cut and then programmed to your vehicle.

Can you make a key if I have lost all my car keys?
It depends on the vehicle. Call us with the make, model and year and we will tell you what is possible before you come in.
Will I need to prove I own the car?
Yes. We may ask for identification and the vehicle registration before opening a vehicle or making a key for it.
